Wide Receiver Football Training part of the Kansas City Athlete Training Football Academy for youth, middle school and high school football player athletes both boys and girls with group classes and private training along with camps and speed and agility classes for all sports and athletics in Kansas City Missouri

Kansas City Athlete Training offers group Wide Receiver Pass Catching Training on Thursday Nights for all positions as part of our Kansas City Athlete Training Football Academy.  Wide Receiver/Pass Catching Football Training focuses on the techniques needed to play any position that catches the football.

This class is highly recommend for all running backs, tight ends, and wide receivers as this class allows athletes to work on their pass catching techniques and fundamentals. We work every class on an athlete's stance then progress into get offs and using a move to get open.  This class is highly recommended for any youth player looking to be successful catching the football on offense.

 

Football Academy Training Group Sessions (Turf)

Football Academy – OFFENSE - Wide Receiver Group Training - $40.00

  • 7:35pm - 8:45pm: Football Academy - OFFENSE - Wide Receiver, Running Backs and Tight Ends Group Training - $40.00
    • TYPE OF CLASS - Football Academy
    • POSITION - WIDE RECEIVERS 
    • AGE GROUP - All Age Group Class
    • CLASS DAY/TIME - Thursday Night @ 7:30pm
    • CLASS DURATION - 1 Hour
    • WeTrainKC Facility - Main Turf Area or Outside Turf Area
    • DESCRIPTION - Recommended for all ball carrying positions including Running Backs, Wide Receivers, and Tight Ends
    • FOCUS - Using Hands to Catch Football, Better Route Running, Gain Confidence Catching Football and Playing a WR Position
    • COST - $40.00 per class or Unlimited Plan
    • PAYMENT ACCEPTED - CASH OR CREDIT CARD

 

 

CLASS REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

You do not need to pre-register for any of the classes, simply arrive early for the specific time slot desired and pay at the class. Upon your first visit to Kansas City Athlete Training you will have to fill out a Release Waiver. All Classes can be paid at the location either in cash or by credit card.  We offer a unlimited monthly plan options as well.

Pushing Off Correct Leg

Wide Receiver Classes at Kansas City Athlete Training for youth, middle and high school football players start with the fundamentals which include understanding how to get in the proper stance and how to push off the correct leg getting out of your stance. We start our classes with get off which include isolation drills to improve an athlete's strength using one leg.

Kansas City Athlete Training offers experienced instructors who have called offensive plays on the youth, middle school and high school level which allows our instructors to evaluate and give feedback about an athlete's strength, power, mobility which creates customized workouts for an athlete so they can improve to help their performance on the football field.

Tennis Balls

Kansas City Athlete Training uses tennis balls to help wide receivers catch with a focus on using their hands. Tennis Balls are smaller than footballs so this forces athlete's to put their hands together when catching the ball. Also tennis balls are smaller and softer which help younger youth football players gain confidence to attack the ball without fear of the ball hurting them. Confidence leads to being Agressive.
